sitting in the lobby of the hotel...

yeah this hotel has high speed internet in the rooms, but only for those of us who have airport cards installed, thus i have to sit here in the lobby with my old fashoned cord plugged into the wall and blog... i did try to use felix's computer but i got totally frusterated with his european keyboard, i cant find anything that isn't a letter for the life of me... (the letters are mixed up but findable but forget finding symbols like the @ symbol)... so here i am in the lobby... bah...

so today... we went down to the winter festaval and it was a total dissapointment.. half because we only saw half of it... (half of it... the snow sculpting and stuff was at a different park which we couldn't find) and half because of the weather.. it was warm and drizzly... bah... all the ice sculptures were melting... and they only make a ice castle every ten years (since it is so expensive) so since the last one was in 2004 we will have to wait a while for the next one... (sigh).. so we wandered around downtown st. paul for a while and then ended up at the st. paul cathedral, and then the capitol, and then to a little diner car downtown that is truely as small as it looks and we had a chocolate malt and then smelled like fried food for the rest of the day... it was interesting. Then we drove over to Minniapolis and went to a German restraunt called the Black Forest Inn for dinner. it was ok... not great, felix can make everything on the list.... better... but we thought we would try it since we are spending someone elses money. :) the beer was cheap and we ordered a pitcher... and since Felix was driving he only had one glass and i drank all the rest... i kinda have a headache now. so that is it... i have to go now so that i can catch my favorite show...
