hello hello...

haven't posted in a while becuase i ran out of pictures... when WAS the last time i posted... i don't remember off hand... (i'd have to go look)... anyway, this weekend i was supposed to take some pictures of our fun but i was having too much fun to remember that i left the camera in my car... oops... well so i just looked at what was on the camera and there was really nothing to post... what was on the camera was some really gross pictures of Felix's cut that he took for lack of something better to use the macro focus on, a bunch of house plant pictures that i took from wierd angles in hopes of inspiring a drawing that i can put up in our dining room, and a bunch of pictures documenting the package that came for us from Felix's parents in Germany, we took pictures of it because it was really banged up (thanks USPS)... there was tea falling out of a big hole in the side and when it came i didn't know what it was, but it got all over the floor... ooh well... everything was ok exept for one decorative tin and some escaped tea, most of the tea was safe.

Anyhow, the fun which I spoke of this weekend was sailing... yay... our first time sailing this summer... we drove up to my friend Beena's in northern Wisconsin to look at a 38 foot boat with a huge hole that her dad rescued from Hurricane Katrina, and then afterward they took us sailing on their Hobie cat, and her dad brought his wind surf gear and I tried his board but it was too small/tippy for me, i am still a beginner, and big boards (cadallac's) are easier... so yeah, it was a nice day, we got back late and all yesterday and today i have been recovering, i forgot what a workout windsurfing can be... all my muscles are so sore, especially my gluteous maximus hahah (sp?)... anyhow... i don't have any pictures of that fun... SORRY!

Hard to take picks of yourself surfing. I would still like to try surfsailing. Sounds like fun. Was this a big lake? The 40 footer, did he haul it from FL?

It wasn't as big as Lake Mendota, but then again it wasn't as weedy as Lake Mendota either, it reminded me a bit of Bills Lake, in terms of how the bottom was kinda sandy by the edges but then got squishy past knee deep, it was long and narrow, not the best for sailing but it is close to their house. He hauled the 38 foot Pearson from Alabama, I guess it was down in New Orleans.
