ok he noticed...

when i came back from getting my hair cut yesterday... he says it looks too brown.. and i agree... my natural color is darker (he said black... but I don't think it is quite black) when i dye it black it looks too harsh... i wish there was a super duper dark brown.. but i have decided dyeing my hair a color close to its real color isn't quite as fun as pink, black and red... or those crazy highlights i used to give myself by pulling bits of hair thru a funny plastic cap and then bleaching them.

anyhow yes... it is a shocker... i decided to go and let someone else cut my hair for a change... I went to one of the local beauty schools and got the full treatment for 9 dollars... it was great... the head massage i got during the shampoo was almost worth the 9 dollars alone! :)

today is EASTER ... happy easter... we decided to skip the candy and eggs and baskets though this year and make a big brown sugar ham instead, and an apple pie and a beef brisket and potatoe salad.. :) ... well the brisket might wait until tomorrow... felix came back from texas and told me that i need to make him a BBQ beef brisket like he had in texas...haha.. he LIKED texas..... he should blog about the things he liked in texas... mebbie i will get him to do that.



we had the greatest weather this past week.. but last night it was WINDY.. i had left a window open last night and woke in the middle of the night to a wind storm and then early this morning it rained bitter cold rain... and the rest of this week is going to be about ten degrees cooler than last week :( this is an image of some clouds i took at sunset the other night... our windows face the wrong direction to see the sunset but sometimes orange light bounces off the clouds that we can see.. this was much better in person.
