grrrrr

i was so excited, i finished my hat this morning... (didn't take long at all) ... i think i might have enough yarn left to make one more hat... might as well.. :)

so anyhow what the grrrr is about... i want to knit a really cute sweater which is in the magazine my mom gave me on knitting for christmas, and i want the exact colors in the one in the magazine. Problem is that the two stores in town which carry that brand (walmart and michaels) don't have the colors.. not even close, I could substitute with another type of yarn but the type it is knit with is really cheap so I want to use it.... soooooo.... i decided to look online for my colors and I found them on knitting-warehouse.com, i also found something elce i really want... and then i thought to look on ebay, and I found it on ebay for really really cheap... and there are multiple sellers of this item... so even though i have never bought anything on ebay i signed up and placed a bid... and i have been so giddy over it i had been checking it every fifteen minutes.. (i placed a bit on one that had an hour and a half left)... well after checking a bunch of times and seeing that the person who had placed the last bid hadn't come back i went to make a snack (telling myself that I would get the item easy).... well i just came back and at LITERALLY the last second someone who hadn't even bid on it came and swooped it up for 50 cents more than what i bid.... grrrrrrrrrr.... luckily there is another item by the same seller going down in like 5 hours... i am so going to try the same thing they did at the last second... see if i can get it..... ha.. so here is the image of the hat i finished at the wee hours of the morning (when Felix left for his first day of work).
