On the 19th Felbie and I tried to plan where we would be going with the RV. We wanted to try to visit some Weihnachtsmarkts, the only problem was that we kept getting hit by snowstorm after snowstorm, there really wasn't that much snow compared to what we get in Wisconsin, but without snowplows it is pretty slow going... so we changed things up, instead of going south towards Osnabruck and over to Hannover we decided to make a northern loop where there would at least be less traffic.

Here we are having tea and talking over our plans...
The radio was playing and we kept hearing about Stau after Stau (traffic jam) due to the weather... we were glad to be indoors drinking tea...
And we had warm toasty feet due to the in floor heating...
Later I got to learn how to make Felbies favorite Christmas cookie.
They are little nut based sandwich cookies with apricot rum jam for the filling. Over the edges you brush dark chocolate and then roll the coated edges in more nuts, then you glue a walnut half to the top with more chocolate. It kept me busy for a while!
