Here we have a lovely picture of Felix and I on the bow of Toyboat. I think I am going to start this blog by catching up on some images I have not yet sent out to everyone I know. :) This is the boat that we raced the previous two years in the Mendota Yacht Club races. I think this image was from the first year we raced. We are rounding the downwind mark in this photo (that is why there are so many boats around us). We are also raising our spinnaker. (A spinnaker aka chute or kite, is the big poofy colorful sail which carries sailboats downwind, ours just happens to be white.)
Tonight Felix is making me Ofenschlupfer for dinner. It looks like it is going to be a sort of bread pudding with apples... mmmmmmm so hungry!
