weekend activities

this is an image from the German club in st. paul, one of the secretary's invited felix and i to a sunday dinner (really it was at lunch time)... they had train sets upstairs and stuff and the dinner was a pork roast with sauerkraut... (sp?)... it was ok, no one our age though (as you can tell from the picture). then this weekend we tried going to play volley ball at the open gym in the community rec center... it was mostly younger guys playing really aggressive and it was really hard to get on a court... so no fun there! I think I will stick with playing underwater hockey!.. sooner or later we will find something fun to do together for exercise on the weekends... hopefully in the way of sailing! i was really dissapointed about the volleyball though...

.... 3M gave felix a new toy a few weeks ago (a palm pilot thingie)... and i was watching my favorite sunday night programs... he thought it would be fun to mess with me... i was holding (guarding) the remote control and he asked me what channel was on... and then all of the sudden the channels kept switching by themselves every couple of seconds... i just about went crazy (since i was holding the remote in my hand and he was no where near the VCR remote)... after i stopped freaking out and actually looked at HIM I saw that he had figured out how to change the channel of the TV with his palm... sneaky!

It looks like a church service. Were these guys singing German songs? and drinking beer?

Not only does it look like a church service it also sounded like one. It was really wired listening to American men singing in German. The fact that the singers had consumed a couple of pitchers backstage did not help either.
